Dr Chatel
Dr Chatel is from Manitoba CA and completed her Medical Degree in 1996 at the university of Manitoba. She joined Mainstreet Medical Services in 2013 after 15 years of rural practice in MB. She has a passion for emergency medicine and procedures and never turns down a cup of coffee.
Dr. Muller
Dr. Muller hails from Cape Town, South Africa. She earned her medical degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2011 and joined Mainstreet Medical Services in June 2022 after a decade in private practice back home.
With extensive expertise in sexual health, Dr. Muller is an active member of several leading professional organizations, including:
WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health)
SMSNA (Sexual Medicine Society of North America)
ISSM (International Society for Sexual Medicine)
- My Sexual Health (Multidisciplinary team of sexual health providers)
In addition to her clinical work, she also provides cosmetic Botox treatments.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Muller enjoys weekends with her husband and two sons. She has a strong passion for interior design and exceptional organizational skills, both in her professional and personal life.
Dr. Wildeboer
Dr Wildeboer is from Lacombe, AB. He has completed multiple degrees including a Bachelor of Science at The King’s College, now The King’s University, Edmonton; Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John’s. During one of the previous rounds of health care changes or cuts, services were being eliminated in Fort Macleod where he had been for several years. At the same time, an opportunity arose here (in Lacombe) to return closer to family so in 2003 he joined Mainstreet Medical Services. He Advocates for rural medicine – serving many years on the executive of the Section of Rural Medicine of the Alberta Medical Association as well as several other committees and on the Representative Forum of the AMA. He also participated in several working groups on primary care reform with the AMA. He is a True Central Albertan – Go Oilers! Go Stampeders!
Dr. Oosthuysen
Dr. Oosthuysen is from Middelburg in South Africa. She studied at the University of Pretoria in South Africa and completed her MBChB degree (Cum Laude) in 2014. She spent most of her postgraduate training in rural South Africa and spent the last few years as a family physician in Middelburg and doing shifts in rural Emergency departments. She joined Mainstreet Medical Services in December 2022 after being attracted to the positive spirit and supportive atmosphere at MM Team. She enjoys working with children and youth and has experience in assisting patients with weight loss. She also has a passion for aesthetic medicine and practice procedures like sclerotherapy for varicose veins, Botulinum toxin and filler injections. She loves her family and being outdoors. She is also an avid embroiderer and loves to learn new skills
Dr. Ali
Dr. Ali is a dedicated physician originally from Tripoli, the capital city of Libya. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Tripoli University in 2014, driven by a deep passion for advancing patient health and well-being.
His greatest personal achievement was becoming a physician, a milestone that marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to patient care. Building on this foundation, Dr. Ali went on to earn both UK and Canadian medical licenses—an accomplishment that not only broadened his international medical expertise but also significantly strengthened his confidence in delivering high-quality care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
Before relocating to Canada, Dr. Ali worked at Liverpool University Hospital. While there he not only honed his clinical skills but also became an enthusiastic supporter of the Liverpool Football Club.
With a steadfast interest in improving health outcomes, Dr. Ali continues to focus on professional growth and meaningful contributions to the field of medicine.
Dr. Nel
Dr. Nel is from South Africa and completed his Medical Degree in 2019 at the University of the Freestate in central South Africa. He also obtained a Diploma in Primary Emergency Care in 2023 from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. He joined Main Street Medical after gaining experience in rural healthcare, family practice and emergency medicine. He also has a passion for preventive healthcare, sports medicine and men’s health. Outside of work, he enjoys multiple outdoor activities and is a bit of a book worm on the rainy days.
